With blackened, cast brass forms soldered to a brass post and 1/4” thick backplate, the sculptural Tallomet Coat Hooks began as a study in form and contrast. The blackened portion of each hook is finished with a waterproof, durable matte finish (suitable for wet environments) and a wax, satin finish on the backplate. Made by hand in Portland, Oregon, the hooks have hidden mounting hardware and are intended to be composed on a wall as sculptural elements.

Tallomet Coat Hooks are usually sold in sets of five; to purchase specific hooks, please see the next listing in this shop. Dimensions vary slightly due to the hand made nature of each hook, but are approximately:

Hook 1: 3" W x 3 1/4" H x 2" D
Hook 2: 2" W x 2 5/8" H x 2 1/8" D
Hook 3: 1 5/8" W x 3 1/2" H x 2" D
Hook 4: 1" W x 3 3/4" H x 1 7/8" D

Installation: Tallomet Hooks attach to the wall using a hidden back mounted #8 screw. Each set is shipped with installation instructions for drywall or plaster and installation hardware. Hooks hold weight in accordance with the wall anchors used during installation.
